"Here is my brickwork book which I have kept all these years as I quite liked the subject, and our teacher 'Fred' Sherrington, although it could be a painful experience if you hadn't seen him lurking with his slipper in hand and he caught you doing something as simple as touching the mortar with your hands - OUCH!

A basic knowledge of brickwork has been helpful with many DIY projects over the years and helped with my work in building services, for which I thank dear old Fred".
