Certificates - Pampisford Road

A typical 'Leavers' Certicate, dated December 1960:
This certificate from Rob Rann, from 1968 looks quite 'official'....
....whereas the next two, also from Rob Rann, look a bit 'improvised'. On the first, it would not be good to get one for 'very bad' participation, recommending 'a parents report'!
Thankfully, both of these were awarded for good work!
Quote from Colin Bamford - "On page 7 of the school magazine my name appears for my GCE 'O' Level Art so I thought I would send you the certificate just to show it was not a misprint!"

Art and Crafts Exhibition Certificate for a 'Head Carving' supplied by Haydn Davies, courtesy Igor Andronov.
Haydn states "The carving was done in an Art Class supervised by Fred Sherrington in the brickwork shop.
The material used was a Thermalite (or similar) concrete block which was quite soft and easily workable.
I didn't know it had been entered for the exhibition until after the event and I had been given the certificate."
Sadly, no picture of the 'Head Carving' is available...
Haydn started attending Croydon Secondary Technical School in 1959.

Mike Lewis adds "Chas sent this through the post to me after I left CSTS. Even though I was a "civvie" by then, he still couldn't bring himself to address me by anything other than just my surname!"
